Hello, and welcome to my first official blog on the new and improved transworldsurf.com. I don’t exactly know what the word “blog” means, but I do know that this little piece of cyberspace real estate is all mine, but I’m wiling to share it with all of you. I guess this means we’re all in this together, and even though I might just blog about total nonsense like stepping in dog shit on the beach and tracking it onto your surfboard like it was mud on a rug or, I may wax poetic about the intricacies of surfing with friends. Either way, this is my first one, and I’ll start it now.

I’m in the Monster Energy RV driving home from a solid week on the Cali Rally. I’m watching the hills fly by on the side of me, and loosely following a boring Angelina Jolie movie in front of me. The Cali Rally was amazing. All the teams got super into it and by the end, every guy on every team was giving their all in hopes of taking the first ever Transworld SURF Cali Rally title, an award that rivals anything ever awarded.
I promise I won’t just advertise the website or the magazine in this blog, but for now, please go and see all the hilarious shit that the teams in the Cali Rally did, man, there was so much funny shit happening I can?t even explain it.
