My friend Tim from UNIV has a new love, and it’s bodysurfing. He goes everyday and i think he’s hung up his surfboard for good. He doesn’t wear fins, which i think is strange, but what he does use is a handgun. A handgun ( I think that’s what they’re called) is a little bigger than your hand, and has a handle on top. Basically, you strap this flat little board to your hand and use it to help you slide across the waves. By using leverage and pushing down on the handgun while riding the wave, you can achieve quite an awesome glide. It may be viewed as a crutch by some bodysurf purists, but to me, it’s just another way to get radical. Tim made his by hand, and calls it the rasta gun?bravo Tim, Bravo.
